Islam - the fınal relıgıon

The meaning of the creation of the world and the human is to know Allah, and to believe in and pray for Allah. Allah (SWT) says in the Noble Quran: "I have only created Jinns and men, that They may serve Me." (Quran 51:56) Allah is the source of all religion. Allah has sent down to us the final heavenly book showing us the right path and preparing us to life in the world as well as to the hereafter (âhiret). Allah has chosen Islam as the ultimate religion and Muhammed (PBUH) as the final prophet. All the messages from Adam (PBUH) to Jesus (PBUH) only invite us to believe in Allah.

World's fırst temple

The Kaaba (Qibla) is the first temple that was built for all humanity to worship Allah. It is located in Mecca, Saudi-Arabia. Allah (SWT) says in the Quran that Qibla was built by the prophet Abraham (PBUH) and his son Ishmael (PBUH). All the other temples (mosques etc.) are branches of Qibla.

At times when science advances amazingly fast, one of our most important objectives is to protect the human dignity and spirituality. This is the mission of life. The local temples (mosques) where we pray in the name of Allah are the triumphs of national and spiritual values - they are holy temples.

The Lahti Islamic Cultural Association was opened for the practice of the values of Islamic culture and religion and for peaceful prayer. Another aim of the Association is to create peace, tolerance and mutual understanding between the people of different languages, cultures and backgrounds. This is achieved by organising teaching and different cultural and religious activities, such as seminars, exhibitions, courses and excursions.

The mosque of the Lahti Islamic Cultural Association is open for muslims for prayer every day. The Association offers lessons in Islam, the Noble Quran, religious culture, moral responsibilities as well as in Turkish and other languages. There are also classes for women in cooking, languages and handicrafts. Through these kinds of activities, the Association has achieved unity and a good standing in the area.
